ELDER DONALD DANNER'S BIOGRAPHY

We Greet you in the matchless Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; for there is no other Name given whereby we must be saved.


Elder Donald Danner, a native of Brooklyn, NY, moved and grew up in Walterboro, SC, at an early age. There, he attended school, graduated from Colleton High School, and furthered his education at the Baptist College of Charleston, the University of SC of Aiken. On December 13, 2019, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Claflin University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.


At an early age Elder Danner was baptized and became a member of the St. James Baptist Church. He began his ministry in April of 1976 and preached his trial sermon at the Campbell AME Church in Bluffton, SC, where he was licensed.


In August of 1979, after attending a Bible class at the Lively Stone Apostolic Faith Temple Church in Islandton, SC, Elder Danner was baptized in water in the name of Jesus and filled with the Holy Ghost.


Elder Danner received his local Minister’s license after becoming a member there, received his Elder’s license, and then his Ordained Elder’s license.

Elder Danner has received much training and instruction through the years, including being a certified (ETA) teacher of the Evangelistic Training Association.Elder Danner is married to the former Ms. Latanya Anthony of Wagener, SC. They have three children, Mrs. Sonya Spruill of Charleston, SC: Brooks and Katelyn Danner of the home, and Carter Perkins, a special nephew.

Elder Danner is the Assistant Pastor at the Praise and Deliverance Apostolic Faith Church in Columbia, SC, where District Elder James Sears is the Pastor. Elder Danner currently serves as the SC DARE Training Center Director with the Richland County Sheriff's Office in Columbia, SC.
